That's Life- [Mac Miller] [88- Keys] & [Sia]
Mac Miller brings us back to a simpler time on, “That’s Life” featuring 88-Keys and Sia, for his second official released song since passing. 88- Keys said Mac and him originally recorded this in New York but it was never finished. With blessings from Mac Miller’s family, the song, “That’s Life” was released.
Mac with his raspy voice smoothly sings over a chorus of jazzed filled horns saying,
“I know it seems a little bit strange sometimes, yeah yeah, everybody lives a little, everybody dies, that’s life, what you gonna do, that’s life.”
The tone from Mac in, “That’s Life” makes it easy to hear his current struggle, as he always did giving you the truth of his situation. This release comes with even more from Mac, with a lot to feed off of, when he says, “Everything is Jazz and I’m Stockton.” Then calmly on the gospel praise behind him saying.
“And I am headed to the other side, where the grass is always greener and your bitch is down to ride but that ass is always meaner see my cash got deeper and my morales disappeared never thought I would be an asshole, this my last show.”
This is 88- Keys first solo drop in 8 years and one of Mac Miller's final songs, said 88- Keys. The “That’s Life” song was leaked under “benji the dog” but that was the name of the beat 88- Keys played for Mac before recording. Listen to the “That’s Life” joint below.
