“Every girl I meet be with it now, I ain’t even shoot my shot, guess a nigga really got hot,” May said, “They been shaking in every day, tryna figure out the next play, asking bout when Imma next drop, when I do I pray it don’t flop.”
The last track of the EP, ‘Temporary’ gracefully pulling a thinking Aaron May’s soul, against harmonizing keys. Pleading to find that missing part, May hit’s the beat running.
“Sittin, thinking bout my position, bout my condition, bout my intention, bout my decisions oh, I’m bout the business, but mind my business, just cause your heart speak don’t mean mine got to listen.” May said, “I know you want to low-key start something here, but only getting love for what I got, my biggest fear.”
Now at full speed, May reminisces on losing something real, but letting it go to “Keep Your Heart In The Clear”.
“The one time, I told you, girl, I like you, the next day, I told you it was over, I got her thinking, how you switch so quick, how you dip so quick, how you gonna flip your script, man I get so sick, Girl the same old same old excuses” May said, “I’m giving you this love, just to watch you abuse it, you keep on fucking up you gonna fuck around and lose it.”
During the chorus, he goes in on the back and forth battle of finding only temporary love.
“I was thinking about the new chapter in my life, I was thinking about the bad bitches and I might, no I lost somebody that probably could’ve been my wife, she ever hit my phone again I reply like.” May said, “Girl, can we smoke, can we chill, give me hope, make me feel, I’ll give you love, give you me.”
