Above Ground EP- [The O'My's]

The O’My’s with that spicy fix, serves a platter of a half dozen songs in its new EP, ‘Above Ground’.

Chicago natives, Nick Hennessey and Maceo Vidal- Haymes with some of the freshest names have a unique sound as they pair together in “The O’My’s”. The EP ‘Above Ground’ fully written by Maceo, a special combination of blending a blues feel with a whole lot of funk. The EP is a complete mix leaving you gladly bumping each song with a purpose.

A sweet pitch from Maceo to match the divinely spoken lyrics in ‘Luke’s Song’ smashes together behind a soft organs echo. As you find yourself listening to the jazzy infusion of real brass music, the EP creeps around the track ‘Mood’ giving a filthy flow on the slow gain of the beat.
